Bill has been involved in the hunter and jumper industry as a judge, owner, rider, and trainer for over 22 years.   He has trained champions in the hunter, equitation, and jumper divisions at the Zone, State, and National levels.  Many of these riders and horses have earned top awards at show such as Devon, WEF, Washington International, Pennsylvannia National, and the National Horse Show.  

Bill is also very involved in the administration of the equestrian community and has served as a member of several committees of the the Virginia Horse Shows Association and the US Equestrian Federation including the Hearing Committee, Pony Hunter/Jumper Committee (Co-Chairman), Continuing Education Committee, Executive Committee, and the Board of Directors of the US Equestrian
